Happily, I've discovered several delicious and satisfying chocolatey desserts to keep my sweet tooth happy and not screw up my fit lifestyle. My top picks include:
- Trader Joe's Very Chocolate Mini Meringue Cookies (110 calories for 13 cookies) -- new to me, thanks to a tip from my coworker Cecilly
- Edy's/Dreyer's Slow-Churned Ice Cream Bars (150 calories)
- Jello Sugar-Free Pudding (dark chocolate is my fave) with Cool-Whip (80 calories)
- Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis (150 calories)
- Skinny Cow Truffle Bars (100 calories)
Obviously, I am of the chocolate persuasion. If you have any favorite sweets that fit into a healthy lifestyle, do share in the comments! I'm always up for a taste test.

I am obsessed with 100 calorie snack packs. I too have a chocolate "thing" and with the snack packs I get just enough chocolate to satisfy my cravings. My favorite are the fudge stripes.
This isn't a dessert really, but it tastes pretty good and fills me up. I am trying to eat more almonds but raw almonds taste like cardboard to me. I buy the 100 calorie almond packs (or make a snackbag of my own) and a handful of dates. I cram one or two almonds inside a date. Does a good job of sweet + crunchy. Easy to eat too many though, so I only do it when I've packed it and not at home.
VitaMuffins and VitaBrownies!
Um, I LOVE that you posted this list, Sue. Now that I know you like the Skinny Cow Truffle bars, I'm so buying them. I've been eyeing them for awhile but never made the leap to purchase.
The ice cream aisle is a great place to find low cal treats. All the Skinny Cow products I've tried are good. My husband loves the ice cream sandwiches. There are also sugar free popsicles and fudgesicles, fruit bars and sorbets. Weight watchers has several ice cream choices.
I am also of the chocolate persuasion and feel like something is missing without the dessert. Here is one of my favorites: I make a guilt free hot chocolate with equal amounts of almond and coconut milk (very rich and good for you) mix in some organic cacoa powder and some stevia and heat it all up. Tastes great, sweet, chocolatey and is soooo good for you.
