To any loyal readers who are still checking in here, bless your heart! I haven't been updating in the past few weeks because, well, I'm pretty much devoting every waking second to my baby boy and my family. Once in a while, I take a "break" to shower and brush my teeth.
Needless to say, I haven't had time to update the blog or really devote myself to getting fit. I'm just trying to get through the day. All I can ask is that you hang on, check back in a few weeks. I really want to get back to getting fit and rededicate myself to this blog ... I just need a little more time to get my baby boy bulked up (he's still awfully tiny) and maybe get a little more sleep.
Thanks for your patience and see you back here soon, I hope.

Can't wait for your return - I need some inspiration!
Thanks in great part to your inspiration I am down 42 pounds as of today- and right about where I was before baby #2. Now to tackle the 40 or so pounds I should have lost in the first place. Come back soon! It is what it is- this is a journey. If it takes us a few years of slow and steady, 2 steps forward one step back progress- we can do it!
Hi, Congrats on your new baby! I haven't been following your blog but I was online looking for a link to the video of me being inducted into the Joy Fit Club on the Today Show in May of 2008. You had put a link of it on your blog. Thank you for saying that you found it inspiring. That was the reason I decided to go on national TV and put myself and my past on display. I thought if it could touch even one person to think that they could do it too it would be worth it. Thank you for letting me know that it was. Hang in there! You can do it! Having a baby can be a great excuse to go hog wild and you didn't do that. Good job. By the way, I am still at the same weight as I was on the show give or take 5 lbs and I still work out like a freak. I'm now in a women's bicycling racing club. I look around at these other skinny, super fit athletes and I just shake my head that I am included in this club! Who would have ever in a million years thought that I'd be doing that?!? I'll check in periodically to see how you are doing. Thanks again, Mary Rosner, Spokane WA
