Not sure if you are the same way, or what your work plans are, but I made the STUPID mistake of signing contracts for two books that were due about 8 months after his birth. I also felt some urge to speak at a professional conference right after thanksgiving when he was about 8 weeks old. I would be up all night with him, try to get some work done during the day while he was home with me (and fail) then wind up using the only hours left for sleep to try to meet my deadlines and prepare for the conference. If I could do it all again, I would have found some other way to make ends meet, or just plain given up on working during the day and just soothed his royal fussy and slept when he did- then hammer hard at night. It would have still sucked but at least I&amp;#39;d get 1 hour sleep instead of 20 minutes. And I probably would have backed off the M+M pound bags that I used to medicate myself.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8912599872259780559/7920275053291008461/comments/default/2832401251371784565'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8912599872259780559/7920275053291008461/comments/default/2832401251371784565'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.mrandmrsgetfit.com/2009/06/weekly-weigh-in-im-down.html?showComment=1246331095456#c2832401251371784565' title=''/><author><name>Dana</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/17796379629733984760</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.mrandmrsgetfit.com/2009/06/weekly-weigh-in-im-down.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8912599872259780559.post-7920275053291008461' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8912599872259780559/posts/default/7920275053291008461' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
